Pipeline transportation of hydrogen (H2) can be divided into various ways based on the transportation distance and hydrogen purity. Pipeline transportation of hydrogen refers to the way of building a certain pipeline between hydrogen production factories and hydrogen station, hydrogen-using enterprises, etc. And hydrogen is transported in gaseous form.
According to the transportation distance, hydrogen (H2) pipelines can be divided into long-distance pipeline and short-distance pipeline. The former is mainly used for long-distance transportation between hydrogen production factories and hydrogen stations, with high hydrogen transmission pressure and large pipeline diameter. The latter is mainly used for hydrogen distribution between hydrogen stations and users, with low hydrogen transmission pressure and small pipeline diameter.
